IMDb (Internet Movie Database) - IMDb offers a searchable database of more than 180 million data items including more than 3 million movies, TV and entertainment programs and more than 6 million cast and crew members. The site provides services such as local movie showtimes, ticketing, trailers, critic and user reviews, personalized recommendations, photo galleries, entertainment news, quotes, trivia, and box-office data.  IMDbPro ( is a subscription version of IMDb designed exclusively for professionals who work in the entertainment industry. IMDbPro provides a casting service, contact information, in production listings for film and television projects, exclusive STARmeter rankings that are determined by user searches on IMDb, and a mobile optimized website.

Whichbook -  A website to help your find a book.  The site allows you pick up to four criteria on a sliding scale.  For example:  Happy or Sad and you pick on the sliding scale, your preference. a resource for lovers of mystery, crime, thriller, spy, and suspense books. The site list over 4700 authors, with chronological lists of their books (over 55,000 titles), both series (5600+) and non-series.

All about Romance - a resource for readers that love romance novels.  The site boasts over 6000 romance novel reviews, new reviews daily, reader forums, daily blog, author interviews and industry coverage.

This site provides free access to Iowa geographic map data through an on-line map viewer and through Web Map Service (WMS) connections for GIS. The site was developed by the Iowa State University Geographic Information Systems Support and Research Facility in cooperation with the Iowa Department of Natural Resources, the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service, and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. This site was first launched in March 1999.
