• Summer Reading Program- Each summer we host a summer reading program to promote reading when you are not in school.

 

  • After School Brick Building Club - Held the second and fourth Thursdays each month from 3:30 to 4:30 pm.  September through April

 

  • Toddler Story Time- Fridays 10:00 - 11:00 am.  Geared toward children between 2 to 4 as of September 15th.  The program runs from September to April.  We do not meet on no school days for Monticello School District.

 

  • Activities on Early Dismissal Days -  The library will have activities for all ages to help keep you busy.  2-5 pm

 

  • Character Parties

  • Book/Movie Release Parties - We provide the food and games.  You bring the fun and excitement

 

  • Teen Tech Week - A week to celebrate technology and have fun with it. 

 

 

  • Monticello Reads Book Discussion Group - Sponsored by the Monticello Public Library. 

    This group is open to the public.

    The group meets 10 times a year, in the library meeting room,  to discuss the chosen title.  Books are available at the desk a month before the meeting.

 

  • US Cellular Tech Class-  US Cellular agents are located in the meeting room to help you with your question on your cellular phones.  They do not limit their assistance to US Cellular phones. Held on the 4th Thursday of the month

 

  • Special Interest Programs - We host various programs in the evenings that will cater to a special interest.  Check the home page for updates and details on upcoming events.
